Protecting Our Frontliners
The Primary Group of Builders donated hazmat suits and pan de sal buns to the Bayanihan Cebu Field Center of the Department of Health located at the Sacred Heart School Campus in General Maxilom Avenue, Cebu City. The donation was facilitated on May 26, 2020.
The field center is designated by DOH to house Covid-19 patients exhibiting mild to moderate symptoms not needing immediate hospital confinement. This way, hospitals are de-congested and enabled to focus on serious and severe cases. To sustain operations, field center welcomes volunteers and receives donations from the private sector.
Aside from this donation, PGB through Maayo Medical, has been providing free online health consultations since April. Recognizing the need to develop more health frontliners, PGB’s technical vocational institute started offering Caregiving NC II and Medical Auxiliary Specialized Services training course since 2019.
